Working at the intersection of
research, culture and

communication  to spark community transformation.

About

I am a communications, culture, and research management professional whose career bridges academia, public policy, and creative practice. I grew up in a small town in the Patagonian Andes that had a library that got washed by the rain and the snow. I read nearly every book in that library by color, and that quiet habit taught me that knowledge is, beyond information, a way of belonging in the world through understanding. That conviction still anchors everything I do.

My work is guided by the belief that knowledge only fulfills its purpose when it circulates—when it reaches communities, inspires creativity, and builds trust. I am driven by values of integrity, equity, and interdisciplinary collaboration, and by a deep sense of responsibility toward the territories I work with. This is why I have devoted my career to designing systems and building institutions that connect knowledge with people.

Over the years, I have lived and worked across different countries and cultures, which shaped my understanding of knowledge as a living exchange between people, territories, and ideas. Moving between the global and the remote, I learned to see value in the margins: in small communities, in the dialogue between art and science, and in the relationship between research, sustainability and nature.

I speak four languages—Spanish, English, Portuguese, and German—which allows me to move fluently between disciplines, institutions, and communities, building bridges where ideas and cultures meet.

I approach initiatives as living ecosystems
balancing structure with creativity,

precision and openness.

My multicultural path from Patagonia, Portugal and Germany has taught me academic rigor while remaining flexible, to listen across cultures, and integrate different ways of thinking and knowledge systems. I build processes that give clarity and direction, while leaving room to breathe, experimentation and dialogue.

Each time I have moved between countries, I have both adapted and enriched every environment I see myself immersed in, while letting my work move knowledge across spaces so it remains alive and relevant, in an effective exercise that permeates public policy, fostering innovation and creating practical applications within context.

In practice, this means I lead teams with transparency and collaboration, making institutions stronger through my own migrational practices while ensuring that they benefit their communities while tapping into the global.
